Oartec Dynamic Rowing Machine

Injury Prevention

Whether you are training for the Olympics or just to keep an active and healthy lifestyle, you want your erg workouts to be doing the best for your body not potentially be leading you to injury.

The dynamic movement of the Slider greatly reduces the stress and repetitive strain loading on your body, particularly on the lower back and joints when compared to a stationary rowing machine.

You will feel the difference right away and understand why the dynamic Slider erg is fast becoming the new standard for indoor rowers.

High Performance

The Slider rowing machine has been designed for rowers, for everyone’s benefit.

It can easily meet the rigorous demands of high volume training and the abusive nature of testing, while being responsive to subtle changes in technique that make it the ideal technique trainer for rowers.

It comes standard with a performance workout monitor and scores are accurately comparable from machine to machine.

The feet are together just like in a boat and the unique dual rail design keep the rolling mechanics simple and moving with smooth and seamless ease.

So no matter how or where it is used, the Slider is built to last and perform beyond all expectations.

Natural Rowing Movement

While it looks like rowing, the stationary rowing machine has less in common with the bio-dynamics of rowing than it actually appears.

The rower’s feet are fixed in a stationary position on the machine and the rower’s body does all of the moving.

However the likeness, it is not a natural simulation.

Rowing on the Slider is closest to what it feels like to row a boat on the water.

Just like a boat moving through the water, the Slider’s dynamic system moves back and forth beneath the rower in the same way. The rower’s feet move away, the body stays still.

This not only makes it safer for the body, but more natural and enjoyable to row.
